So this years Audio Show in Warsaw, Poland was organised by Adam Mokrzycki Services (AMS) and we had the chance go head over and attend, courtesy of Moje Audio (iFi:Poland).

With around 10,000 visitors attending despite it being a 2 day show, we though to do a recap upon StereoLife’s show report and provide some highlights!

The show commenced on November 8th until the 9th and was held at 3 hotels; Radison Blue Sobieski, Golden Tulip and Bristol.

So lets start with Sobieski!

On the first day of the exhibition it was said that the crowds were so large that many of them simply could not come! However majority stayed to listen to the equipment presented in particular rooms. On Sunday, this was slightly more relaxed and ended 2 hours earlier than Saturday thus trying to see all the rooms was a task due to time!

Cause of this StereoLife had visited the rooms they most liked and took some snaps. Here are a couple of shots:

From SL: “Who would have thought that one of the biggest hits of the Warsaw exhibition will showcase columns for three thousand! Polish producers, however, have this in common, that even for the money are able to offer audiophiles not only bearable if correct, but really cool products. One of them is the Pylon Audio”

From SL: “We do not know how it happens, but in the room of Warsaw Audiopunktu always plays well. In recent years, the recipe for success was simple – a modest system and overall dimensions of the column fit into a small room.”

Oh look! British icons! Can anyone else see The Beatles here?

From SL:: “One of the interesting findings in Sobieski were monitors Kaiser Acoustics Kawero!”

On to the Bristol and The Golden Tulip rooms!

StereoLife says: “Behind us, the first day of the biggest exhibition of audio equipment in Poland. And how? Let’s just say it bluntly – sensational!”

Transrotor Artus

From SL: “Another star exchanged among the biggest attractions of this year’s exhibition is a turntable Transrotor Artus . In the list of the world’s most expensive turntables this model was in the forefront. Artus costs over half a million, not without reason.”

From SL: “Always nice to see the products of Polish companies, and especially when devices with completely different categories together form a system which provides complete, consistent and pleasant sound. So it was in a room rented by the three domestic manufacturers – companies Zontek , Linnart and Soundbox.”

From SL: “Columns brand Boenicke our attention at this year’s High End in Munich, where he worked with vacuum tube electronics Auris Audio…”

We must say these monitors look great! Very urban, natural and simple.

From SL: “If Forrest Gump visited Audio Show 2014 hall of Warsaw’s Sound Club probably would compare to a box of chocolates. What was not there … Distributor brought almost everything it has to offer. Many amateur hi-end equipment could in this one room to spend a few good hours. We especially fell in the eye intensifier tubes brand Robert Koda, who came to the Polish just two days before the show.”

Stax electrostatic headphones.

Drum-roll please……..Here comes iFi!

“This brand probably needs no introduction. Ifi Audio is famous for its tiny boxes for different uses, but they offer brand is closely linked with the AMR-I did not stop there. This year also presented a beautiful and very clever tower consisting of a CPU and columns packed in bamboo wood cabinets. The whole retro style attracts, but is designed as a system that will satisfy both fans of music files, and relax to the sounds of the black discs. Vinyl and Wi-Fi in one tower? In our opinion, it’s a fantastic idea. Positions at a long table could be heard DACs and headphone amplifiers Audio IFI combined with a variety of high-end handsets, as well as talk to people specializing in this subject.”

We also took over our latest model of headphones….Yes the Audeze LCD-X with a custom cable made by Forza Audioworks.

So in closing, a few words from StereoLife; “As briefly summarized Audio Show 2014? The answer is simple – you can not.The largest exhibition of audio equipment in Poland is an event, which each year is performed with increasing verve, and yet after two days of constant touring and listening there will always be something that despite the best efforts failed to see. Therefore, everyone will remember this event a little differently. Organizer of the exhibition certainly are a big round of applause, not only for the introduction of improvements to facilitate the movement of the hotels, but also the promotion of the event itself.”

iFi: We must say, we really enjoyed our time in Poland at the show, along with Moje Audio and meeting customers!…Roll on 2015!
