LIVENow is a streaming platform which hosts events in music, sport, fitness, comedy, theatre, inspirational speakers and more.  As part of our Women’s History month celebrations, we caught up with LIVENow’s Brand Partnerships Manager, Georgia Keegan.

Hi Georgia! Tell us what you enjoy most about your job?

As a music fan myself, I know first-hand about that thrill of witnessing your favourite artist perform! There is nothing quite like the connection that people have with music, it brings us all together.

Having joined LIVENow after working for three years at Live Nation across their music festivals, I have entered a new world of streaming music events.

LIVENow bring music fans iconic experiences with their favourite artists straight to their home, in exciting, innovative ways. It’s a really interesting time to be working for them, and I can’t wait to be able to announce the future music events we have coming up!

Sounds very exciting! We will be keeping our eyes peeled. I bet this is a hard question for you but what would you say is the best concert or live music experience you’ve ever had?

I am going to have to say the thrill when Drake surprised the crowd at Wireless in 2018 by appearing as their secret headliner. Watching the buzz backstage waiting for Drake to arrive amongst, not only the crew, but also other big-name artists who had performed earlier that day. Watching Drake leap on stage and the crowd go wild was something that will be hard to top. It was also pretty cool to be able to say hi to him in the artist area after he performed. I didn’t play it cool.

We don’t blame you for not playing it cool! Ok, so another tough question from us … What’s your favourite album?

Difficult question when there are so many legendary albums. If we are talking current artists, any of Drake’s albums. From the past, Jimi Hendrix has my heart, I would have LOVED to watch him play guitar live.

And lastly, as it’s women’s history month we have to ask … What advice would you give to other women wanting to work within your industry?

A job isn’t a job if you love what you do. As a woman in the music industry, I have witnessed massive support from other female colleagues, women are a strong force within the industry. My advice would be, don’t hold back, don’t doubt yourself, you are good enough and can succeed if you put your mind to it.

Thanks so much for chatting to us, Georgia.
