Will the micro iUSB3.0 tolerate both a wider range of voltages?
Answer: The micro iUSB3.0 handles anything from at least 6v to absolute max 18v. So it is compatible with notional 12v battery systems for cars (which really are 14.4v and reach even higher voltages under “load-dump”). You need to, however, feed enough total power to get enough output (no, it does not include an over-unity power system). For two USB 3.0 devices that is at least 10 Watt and to support two BC1.2 devices that is 15 Watt. With the included 9v iPower you can support one USB 3.0 device and one BC1.2 device.
