The power supply in the Stereo 50 is a regulated SMPS, designed for 85V – 265V operation and the design has been verified against these voltages for normal operation.
Example: The mains supply in Japan is at the lower edge of this range, with 100V nominal and 90V minimum, however even for Japanese mains there is a safety margin.
