The GR 2 lifts the audio experience to a superb level. Especially on older recordings the Xbass and the Xspace work wonders. They give the recording a more comfortable listening to.
Well built and I am super happy with hybrid mode so I generally do not have to use the battery at all keeping the cycles to an absolute minimum.
The sound that it creates is of course highly dependant of the other components, that said, the sound it it produces is very good.

Got the Go Link 2 Max to give me best quality with a MacBook Air M3 and DT 700 Pro X headphones. This gives me great mobility, also late night work. I also use it out of my studio setup, connected to a four stereo out headphone preamp that gives me two headphone outs, monitor speakers and main PA for streaming. Reaper’s aggregate device allows my recording sound card input and the Go Link 2 out simultaneously, new to me and such a great way to work. I highly recommend the Go Link for it’s quality, portability and small size.

I was hearing a lot of distorted bass notes with my Dan Clark Noire closed headphones using the HipDAC 3. I was worried I had damaged my headphone with gaming sounds but hoped it was a power issue since DCNs are rather power hungry. Boy did this fix that problem! Even with Xbass it still sounds great. I like the display and the touch screen controls and the option for dual function cable (one cable for charging and sound). Scroll just below these reviews and you’ll see the downloadable quick guide and full manual which has all the instructions you need (contrary to earlier review). I’m not sure when to use which filters, but that’s on me. And I like seeing the info about the source audio to be sure I have the best settings on my Mac. When I first saw this site with its slick moving web graphics and the usual tech bombast, I wasn’t sure how it would translate into listening for someone like me who enjoys good sound but is not really an audiophile. But yes to clarity, bass and sound stage beyond a doubt.

Upgrade in sound is phenomenal, no instructions for this model, only the previous version. So trying to figure out some of the Icons that are not on previous model is problematic at best.

Absolutely stunning sound. I paired with Wave IEMs and achieved a true wired audiophile listening experience. Vocals are rich, instruments are distince and beautifully balance. IFi delivers again!! Highly recommend!

I think the Blu Air is the best BT dongle you can buy, it has replaced my Q5K which I never thought I’d change. Phone calls are crisp on it and the XBass & Xspace add a bit of spice and colour to my music if it needs it. Rubber volume wheel is practical and a simple play/pause button also. Only gripe would be I can’t feel the on/off button without looking for it as it sits flush, some sort of tactile element would be helpful here. Really impressed.

Plugged it in a mediocre pair of Sony ear buds, the difference was astounding.

I wasn't expecting the performance this product delivered considering its size, but it's amazing. I don't find it colours the music in any way, leaving you up to eq your headphones as you want. It also feels high quality, and it's become a product I use every day

Performance supersedes any competition, far beyond my expectations. Switches from my Sony ZX707 to this plus my phone.

Works perfectly with my headphones and has very good audio quality. Would recommend :)

I use the GO link Max with my iPad when I'm in the house, mainly for soundtrack music and some Hi res opera stuff. Paired with iem headphones, the sound is great and really quite powerful for such a small unit. I don't think it would have a problem with driving more powerful headphones. I only use headphones, so have not tried this with an external speaker. Overall I'm very happy with this product.

I am exceptionally satisfied with the unit’s performance, particularly its analog and digital outputs. The Bluetooth LDAC performance is also remarkable. Moreover, immersing oneself in high-fidelity audio while relaxing on the couch with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Qobuz, YouTube Music, is an excelent experience.

This dac is easy to connect and reproduces cd quality music. I connected it from the RCA outputs on the dac to my preamp aux input and play the music through my audio system.
