Your iFi streamer just got a big upgrade 

The latest firmware brings a range of upgrades and improvements – Spotify Lossless support, smoother Qobuz gapless playback, and a more resilient, responsive system. Available simultaneously across the full iFi streamer range. 

1. Streaming Upgrades 

Two big streaming wins in one update 

This firmware drops two features that have been highly anticipated by our community of streaming enthusiasts – Spotify Lossless support, and improvements to Qobuz Gapless playback. 

Spotify Lossless via Connect – CD Quality and Beyond 

The latest update unlocks full support for Spotify Lossless streaming via Spotify Connect, direct through your iFi device. No workarounds, no extra hardware – just pure, uncompressed FLAC audio from the world’s largest music streaming service. 

Supported formats: CD Quality (44.1kHz, 16-bit), Hi-Res (44.1kHz, 24-bit) 

Qobuz – Gapless Playback 

Gapless playback on Qobuz is now improved. No more silence between tracks on live albums, concept records, or DJ sets –music streamed from Qobuz now flows continuously, exactly as the artist intended, so you can immerse yourself in the true album experience. 

2. Compatible Models 

Every iFi streamer. All at once. 

The update is available now via the Nexis online portal across the full streamer range. Newly manufactured units will ship with the updated firmware pre-installed. 

3. How To Update 

Three steps. Under five minutes. 

1. Access your device’s System Settings.  

You can access the System Settings for your streamer via the iFi  Nexis App, or your device’s web-based interface (e.g. ifi-zen-stream.local, ifi-neo-stream3.local, ifi-idsd-phantom.local) or IP address. Select ‘Settings’, then ‘System’, then check for updates – an iFi Nexis account is required to complete the update.  

2. Complete the update.  

Once your device has downloaded the latest firmware version, it will take around 5 minutes to complete the update. You won’t need to do anything else.  

Your streamer will restart automatically after the update is complete. Spotify Lossless, gapless playback for Qobuz, and all other improvements will now be live on your streamer.
