Fusing the NEO iDSD’s award-winning DAC with our proprietary network streaming technology, the NEO Stream becomes a high-resolution digital audio hub, designed for enthusiasts.
Key Features
TDK C0G (Class 1 ceramic) capacitors offer high stability and low losses for resonant circuit applications. Getting ever closer to the theoretical ideal of pure, frequency-constant capacitance, these capacitors reduce capacitor-induced distortion to vanishingly low levels.
They are pricey but are a perfect addition to our products.
The NEO Stream features a new low-latency 16-core XMOS microcontroller with twice the clock speed (2000MIPS) and four times the memory (512KB) compared to current 8-core chips. It supports the latest SuperSpeed USB standard, with firmware programmed by iFi’s in-house team to optimise sound quality and seamlessly integrate with the Burr-Brown chipset.
Roon Ready network devices have Roon’s streaming technology built in and are certified by Roon Labs to provide the highest level of quality and performance in network streaming.
Hi-res audio support is state-of-the-art with True Native® playback. It handles PCM data to 32-bit/768kHz, DSD up to DSD512 and single and double speed DXD. Thanks to the Burr-Brown DAC chip’s four-channel True Native design, PCM and DSD take separate pathways – this enables DSD, as well as PCM, to remain ‘bit-perfect’ in its native form right through to analogue conversion.

The NEO iDSD 2 is a versatile 3-in-1 DAC/Amp designed for CAS audiophiles. It works as a Head-Fi DAC/Amp with headphones, a pure DAC with an integrated amp, or a DAC/Preamp for active speakers and power amps. Equipped with Bluetooth 5.4, it supports aptX Lossless, the only Bluetooth codec that streams CD-quality audio without quality loss.

For a superior network connection, the NEO Stream offers a unique optical LAN option alongside standard RJ45 and M12 ports. With iFi's own technology, connect the OptiBox transceiver to your router, linking it to the NEO Stream via an optical cable—both included.
